I wanted to let you know how happy we were to work with Emily when buying our house. She was always available when we needed and never complained and let us do what we wanted to do. She was very helpful when closing from a distance, as well as "service after the sale". Also, we really missed her when our agent in Kent didn't perform as well as Emily did. She even helped us when they messed up after we moved and didn't have an internet connection.

We signed up for a referral program through our mortgage bank where if we used one of their preferred agents we would get a cash bonus when we closed on a new house. We got Laurie. As the process of buying went on she showed herself to be knowledgeable, tenacious, and motivated. She was a great advocate for us, her clients, and made sure we knew everything we needed to know and fought hard for our best interests in everything. Overall I would highly recommend her for any one looking for an agent. She is one of the best out there.

I want to take a moment to highlight an amazing real estate agent, Mrs. Emily Frank, with whom I had the pleasure of working with during my first home purchase. While I am originally from the Seattle area, I have been living in many different places over the past 7 years due to the nature of my work. I am a Captain with SkyWest Airlines, most recently based out of Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Coeur d'Alene is somewhere I have always dreamed of living, and in my home search, I required a flexible, understanding agent who would be able to accommodate my busy schedule and my need to come out from Chicago to CDA through Spokane, sometimes with only one day's advance notice, to look at potential homes. Emily made me feel valued and listened to, and even with the extreme distance between myself and CDA, and knowing I would likely take more than the average amount of time a home buyer takes in looking at homes, she eagerly took on the task of helping me.
As I know you understand, the home buying process can be quite complicated and difficult to navigate, especially for a (millennial) first-time homebuyer like myself. Emily distilled the entire process down into more easily digestible parts which helped me eliminate much of the anxiety commonly associated with such a process. She always provided accurate information and was incredibly honest, providing me with constructive feedback allowing me to make the best decision possible.
I would like to share an anecdotal experience which further illustrates why Emily is a true asset to the Tomlinson Sotheby's team. Originally I had gone with a "box lender", Quicken, to provide me with information and options for a mortgage. While this company did their best to help get me into a home from their Detroit, MI offices, they ended up fallings short at a crucial time in the home buying process. As can happen, the home appraisal they sent for came up short in both the value of the home and the comparable sales in the neighborhood. This would have disqualified the specific home I ultimately did purchase from my being able to finance it with them. In discussing this issue with Emily, she was decisive and quick on her feet, suggesting a local lender, Willamette Valley Bank, in order to try for a more seasoned, locally familiar appraisal. I ended up choosing WVB as my lender as they were able to more accurately appraise the home taking into consideration the nuances of the area and the specific real estate climate of Coeur d'Alene this year. Without Emily's quick thinking and, more importantly, already established business contacts and networking skills, it would not have been possible for me to be in the home that I adore.
I closed on my first home March 16, 2018, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. With Emily and the professionals she brought into the transaction (including Pioneer Title Co., my home inspector Dave, and Willamette Valley Bank for my mortgage) were all like her- driven to exceed the expectations of those they served. Emily is a true gem, and I know that an internationally respected, well-established brand and association of people like Tomlinson Sotheby's will benefit from retaining such a talented young individual.
